An amazing art retreat!

It's been a busy couple of weeks, and it's all good! I taught a workshop in Connecticut last week at Artists Rising Creativity Retreats at the Connecticut River Valley Inn in Glastonbury, CT. I could not have wished for a better group to spend the week with. We painted flowers and birds and even had fun throwing the cherry blossom petals into the air! We talked about art, shared details of our lives and felt like we had been friends forever by the time we said goodbye.

This was my first in-person retreat in over two years so it felt so good to know that this is definitely something I need to do more of…it nurtures my artistic soul so, so much.

I also added the link my weekly Instagram Live oil painting demo that I did live from the retreat that week. I painted a beautiful Magnolia that my students gave to the workshop host Pat on the day we left…how thoughtful is that?!?
