Fred, ready to usher in 2022

This handsome New Years bird, shall we call him Fred?, was painted live on Instagram as my final live of 2021. I’m guessing I painted live at least 50 times this year. I think that I only missed one or maybe two times. I remember way back when I pushed myself to do this weekly, I would be nervous and apprehensive. Worried about messing up, looking bad, or thinking no one would come watch. Now it’s a habit I look forward to each week. I’ve made new friends, and have learned so much along the way. And one of the most important things is confidence. It’s funny how that works when you push yourself out of your comfort zone and do something new…and then keep doing it until it becomes habit…it’s just like creating art, isn’t it?
