following your muse...

One of my goals this year was to be creating paintings a season or two ahead of time, so I'm not scrambling to ship holiday paintings right before Christmas. And I must say I'm ahead of where I was last year. And when I started writing this post yesterday, my plan was to do a holiday painting for my Wednesday live on IG, but that didn’t happen. The best laid plans…because this hydrangea was calling out to me. And that’s where the line between business and art don’t always intersect. I just felt like painting this hydrangea today, and that’s okay, the holiday painting can wait another day or two…sometimes you just need to follow your muse…
