"Sweet Hearts" paint along...

I am so looking forward to our "sweet hearts" group painting event on Instagram on Wednesday, February 12th at 7 am, eastern time. This was a fun idea that came up during one of my live Instagram painting session that I do nearly every Wednesday morning. To try doing a project together at the same time that I am doing it. So I put together this video to show you how to prepare your paper so that we are all ready to start at 7 am.

You can use whatever supplies you have around plus some acrylic paint colors that make you happy.

Here are my suggestions:

Bristol board, or any stiff board or paper

White gesso

washi tape for gridding off the squares

assorted brushes

acrylic paints, craft paint is fine to use

mark-making tools, pencils, colored pencils, woodies, grease pencil, caran d’ache

And when we are finished we can all share them on instagram with the hashtag #artfriendsxo, and in my Art Friend facebook group so we can all share the fun that we create!
