sweet heart xo9
This was just a seed of an idea only a few weeks ago. Do you know how sometimes you feel an overwhelming desire to do something and you have no choice but to do it? Maybe it’s because Valentine’s Day, my favorite holiday, is right around the corner, or maybe because I just felt like painting something different, free and fun.
Either way, I got to work and gridded off some oil painting paper and dove into the project with all of my heart.
And these sweet hearts are what came to be. Now I had tiny heart original oil paintings, so what should I do with them? Making them into heart lockets was the perfect answer.
And I am totally in love with each and every one of these sweet hearts.
They are 1”x1” original oil paintings on Arches oil paper. They are signed on the back and nestled in a copper frame with glass on either side. The pendant is on a 30” black leather cord that can easily be adjusted to the perfect length.
I will ship yours off to you as soon as I can, to get it to you by Valentines’ day. Spreading love!
