A few of my favorite books

Whenever I have a free minute I’m usually either watching painting video, or reading. And I rarely read fiction. Not because I don’t enjoy fiction, but because there are too many fabulous non-fiction books I want to read first. Here is a stack of some of my favs from my bedside table. If you see any in this stack that you haven’t read, I highly suggest it. I’m currently reading Hashtag Authentic, which is as beautiful as it is filled with nuggets of wisdom about finding creativity and building a community on Instagram and beyond. And that tiny one on top, Sara Midda’s South of France is filled with gorgeous watercolor illustrations that I can never get enough of. I think I have every single one of her books.

As much as I love learning on the internet, there’s really nothing that compares with getting lost in reading while holding a book in my own two hands.
