A monent in time...
All the parts of the year feel a bit different for me. Some are seasons of getting ready and some are seasons of doing. And summer, which I wish to be the season of rest, is quite the opposite. I do get a few pauses, like this past weekend at the Lake Wallenpaupack with my family at my daughter and son-in-laws lake house (and we did not get a good photo of us all together, as many photos as I take, how can that possibly happen?) , and we will spend some time at the beach with my niece and her family between the two weekends of the Rehoboth Fine Art Show, which is something to look forward to.
But right now I’m busy bee creating work for my upcoming shows in Lititz, Pa,, Rehoboth Beach, De, Mount Gretna, Pa., Rittenhouse, Pa., and a new one for me, Virginia Beach, Va. And within there we also help out with community events in our town and have several of those coming up, too. Plus I’be been brainstorming what I should do for my 2025 calendar, any suggestions?
Beyond that I will be having a show at Red Raven Art Company in October and need to create new work for that. And October will be here before we know it. Oh, and I’m doing a Plein Air Workshop with some friends in September, and I’m really looking forward to that. Plus I’m in the midst of planning for upcoming Inspiring Art sessions for the rest of the year which are always so much fun!
So summer is not as lazy and carefree as I might like. Someimes if feels a bit overwhielming, but I know I’m blessed to be doing what I love, and that’s all that matters #luckyme
