A peek inside...

Did you know that I host a creative learning community called Inspiring Art? It’s a monthly membership that is a creative space curated to nurture your creativity and confidence, and have fun creating art in the process. 

There are sessions with practical training on topics like oil painting demos, acrylic painting activities, skill builder segments focused on things like color theory and mixing, values, and edges, and art supply exploration (because who doesn’t love that?!?). We explore ways of maintaining confidence through the messy middle, as well as sharing behind the scenes of how I find my inspiration, photograph reference images, photograph and adjust finished artwork, and more. 

We just recently finished a session on my process for creating a large painting from beginning, through the messy middle to the finished painting…it was filled with all of my tips and tricks for painting large and in our most recent session I demonstrated painted a water lily. It was both fun and challenging…
