make a wish

For my weekly Wednesday morning live I painted these gorgeous flower from The Farm at Oxford (https://www.thefarmatoxford.com/) who were at the Artisans Market at Winterthur with me this past weekend. I’ve been an Instagram fan of her flowers for the longest time and it was great to finally get to meet Mara.

So of course because if how gorgeous the flowers are, I took a gazillion photos and this is the first painting to come of that photoshoot. I focused on having fun with the color and being the perfect mix of spontaneous and intensional in it’s creation!
