It's officially peony season in the northeast! The most wonderful time of the year! Peonies are my absolute favorite subject to paint and when peony season arrives I just can’t get enough. This painting was inspired by a photo of my first peony bud in my very own back yard taken in the early morning light. I love, love the colors, don’t you?
